Value Creation Plan 2027

PHC Group’s Value Creation Plan 2027 is a mid-term management plan outlining our global business goals and key strategic initiatives from FY2024 to FY2027. Driven by our vision, “to be a leader in precision technology that powers the future of healthcare,” this plan lays out the steps we will undertake to strengthen our business foundation and support future growth.

PHC Group will pursue our vision in two phases. In Phase 1, which extends from FY2024 to FY2027 and is covered by the Value Creation Plan 2027, we will focus on building a foundation for growth. In Phase 2, which extends from FY2028 to FY2030, we will accelerate our efforts and seek sustainable growth focused on the field of Diagnostics & Life Sciences.
In Phase 1, we will implement three key initiatives:
1. Structural reform to strengthen the profit base. To enhance cash-generating capabilities and strengthen our financial position, we will be implementing company-wide structural reforms. Our focus will be on improving profitability and capital efficiency.
2. Improve portfolio management. This initiative will involve introducing return on invested capital (ROIC) as a means to evaluate and improve the capital efficiency of each business to achieve profitability.
3. Focus on Diagnostics & Life Sciences. PHC Group will increase our focus in this domain, Specifically, we will create and expand unique solutions by combining domain technologies. We are committed to exploring advanced cancer diagnostic solutions and supporting the adoption of innovative treatments.

Our Approach to the Value Creation Plan 2027

By FY2027, we seek to achieve the major management targets listed in the table below.
Our goal is to achieve improvement in each indicator as compared to the forecast as of FY2024.
In terms of profitability, we are targeting a sales growth rate of 4-5%, an operating profit margin of 8-10%, and an EPS of more than double the FY2024 forecast figure.
In terms of efficiency, we are targeting a return on equity (ROE) of 10% or higher and a return on invested capital (ROIC) of 8% or higher.
