The PHC Group to join Nikkei’s Project: Support Japan’s Healthcare
The PHC Group joins as a sponsor of the project organized by the Nikkei Newspaper called "Supporting Japan’s Healthcare: Don’t Let the Healthcare System Collapse.” In this project, Nikkei will interview individuals representing various fields involved in the response to COVID-19, including the government, academia, and corporations, and will issue monthly feature articles in the national morning edition, with the message: “What do we need to do to establish a sustainable healthcare system in Japan?” This project will deepen discussions about the actions required to contain the pandemic, while also expressing appreciation to the healthcare professionals fighting at the forefront. A portion of the revenue generated from the sponsoring companies will be donated to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine, GAVI the Vaccine Alliance, and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).
