Announcement of Changes in Corporate Officers at PHC Holdings Corporation Effective June 13 and July 1, 2022
Please be advised that the following changes will take place at PHC Holdings Corporation (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) effective June 13 and July 1, 2022.
(1) Objectives and Measures of this Change
PHC Holdings Corporation will centralize its management structure to reduce direct reporting lines to the President and CEO, for the purpose of improving the agility of our business. Under this new structure, the management team will continue to carry out the internal transformation necessary for our further evolution as a global healthcare company.
Regarding the new management structure, Shoji Miyazaki, President and CEO, stated, “The business environment surrounding PHC Group is changing rapidly and significantly. Short-term challenges include a slowdown of demand related to COVID-19 and the rise of costs related to logistics and raw materials. Mid- and long-term challenges include leveraging growth opportunities in the paradigm shift emerging in the healthcare industry, responding to the rise of new technologies and competitors, and ultimately enhancing the value of the business. As we are currently in simultaneous phases of turnaround and growth, I believe that forming this intense executive team will help this company navigate challenges by speeding up our decisions and actions. Our Vision, Mission, and Values, which guide our actions as a leading global healthcare company, remain unchanged.
