Wemex Launches PharnesX Electronic Pharmacy Record System Series to Reduce Workload of Pharmacy Personnel in Japan —Series Enhances Information Processing and Operations of Medication Histories and Medical Receipts—
Wemex Corporation (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President, Representative Director: Takayuki Otsuka, hereafter Wemex), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PHC Holdings Corporation (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo), has launched the PharnesX series of software for pharmacies in Japan. The series includes PharnesX-MX, an electronic medication history system and PharnesX-EX, a medical-receipt system, which can both help reduce pharmacist and staff workload by enhancing information processes and operations related to medication record-keeping.
The PharnesX series of electronic pharmacy record-keeping software offers new features designed to improve user experience, building on functions that were available in Wemex’s previous systems for pharmacies, such as extensive checking of over-the-counter and prescription medication interactions, contraindications, and medical-receipts, as well as support features for entering commonly used phrases and sentences to help prevent input errors.

# Enhanced information processing for smooth operations
The processing ability of the Central Processing Unit (CPU) installed in the PC has been upgraded from 32 bits to 64 bits. The series contributes to reducing pharmacist and staff workload by offering the same excellent usability of its predecessor systems while enhancing connection speed and ease of interfacing with software using API technology, which has become a growing need in recent years.
# Access to online eligibility verification system, the foundation for electronic prescription operations in Japan
The PharnesX series links with facial recognition systems for online eligibility checks. Wemex's unique all-in-one solution eliminates the need to purchase dedicated devices to connect with online eligibility verification*1 systems, medical-receipt systems, and electronic medication history systems. This allows pharmacies with limited space to easily adopt the series.
# Compatible with Medicom Cloud Operation Continuity System, a support service for emergencies and natural disasters
Medicom Cloud Operation Continuity System is an optional hybrid solution that combines on-premise and cloud technology. Switching to cloud operations supports security measures and business continuity during emergencies and natural disasters.

# Compatible with prescription input support service
The PharnesX series comes with an optional prescription input support service, a new service that standardizes prescription input operations and allows smooth review of prescriptions.
